James A. Eidson is the principal partner in the firm of Eidson & Associates, P.C. and has practiced law in the Atlanta area for over 28 years, where he has achieved the highest rating among his peers in the Martindale Hubbell Law Directories.
During his years of practice, Mr. Eidson has represented indiviuals, insurance companies, corporations, banks, and various local governmental entities, including the City of East Point and City of Fairburn, Georgia, as both trial counsel and general counsel, gaining a broad base of experience in Federal and State Courts.
Although the firm is a general practice, it is primarily devoted to a trial practice with a focus on representing individuals who have been injured or damaged by the negligence or wrongful conduct of others. At the same time, Mr. Eidson also routinely represents individuals, small businesses and other corporate entities on various matters and as general counsel.
Mr. Eidson also served for almost 10 years as National and Co-National Defense Counsel for St. Paul Insurance Companies and two of their Corporate Insureds In Re the Defense of the Multi-District Silicone Implant Litigation, which was complex litigation involving a Mass Tort.
As reflected by the significant reported decisions set forth below, Mr. Eidson and his firm have successfully handled a wide array of contested cases in both the State and Federal Appellate Courts in matters ranging from personal injury, wrongful death, breach of contract and fraud, to constitutional matters and complex issues regarding municipal and governmental liabilty.
